My 1st square, on its way to the Crochet Dude!

Here's the 1st square that I'm sending to The Crochet Dude for the Heartmade Blessings Group!

This Vinelace pattern is taken from a pattern book. It actually took up more yarn that I expected. But I'm happy that I've managed to bust 1 ball of yarn. More to go!!

Looking forward to the weekend!

Bought so many things from Golden Dragon this week. Have already figured out how to use the Hairpin Lace Tool. Maybe a belt coming up?

I'm gonna learn how to use the Flower Motif card, and make loads of flowers. Also, if I have time, will try to make a belt out of the triangle plastic rings too!

Oh yes, I still need to complete a square and send it to Crochet Dude for the Heartmade Blessing group. Hmm... I'm so excited with the Hairpin Lace Tool. Wonder how a square will look with this technique? It's a good opportunity for me to practise before I start on a big project.

Too many things to do, too little time...

Trip to Golden Dragon

Been a long time since I last went there. Anyway, thsi is a very fruitful trip cos I was able to find some treasures, thing that I've been wantind to find.

The moment I saw this blouse, I instantly fell in love with it! It's so sweet!!!

Bought the whole book cos they don't sell by individual patterns. Unfortunately, the pattern is in japanese. I would need to make more trips to Golden Dragon to ask the pple there to teach me.

This is call a Hairpin lace tool. Had seen someone using this in Craftster. Finally able to find it. More new projects to come... Anyway, bought this cos it was needed to make the lace panel for the pink blouse on top.

A flower maker or flower motif card. It supposedly help us to make flowers. Flowers are in, good especially for pple like me who don't accessorize a lot. Looks simple to make, and the price is ok. No harm trying... Hee

Saw this bag made of these rings some time ago and had been wanting to try one. Finally... able to find the plastic rings!

And guess how much I spent?

A new cardholder

My old cardholder is crocheted using acryllic yarn and it's so heavily used that it's became old and felted now. Its time to change a new one!

Was at Spotlight last Fri, and they were having sale on some cotton fabric. This was bought at only $5 per metre. I bought 0.5m, for 3 different fabric. Can't wait to do more things. I intend to make some japanese inspired belts and clutches with it.

Here's a card holder, self designed. I love the way how the fabric looked. But this is a very rough pattern and hand sewn. I need to polish up my sewing skills and also to fix up my sewing machine to get ready for more projects!

Project Mystery

I've sent out one of the projects today. I will send out the other tomorrow. For those who are wishing that you'll get a surprise from me, you still have a chance!!
